The prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship 2026 is now open for applications. A fully funded professional exchange initiative supported by the U.S. Department of State, the Humphrey Fellowship brings mid-career professionals from developing countries, including Pakistan, to the United States for 10–12 months of graduate-level, non-degree academic coursework, professional development, and cultural exchange.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship 2026, applicants must:

  • Hold Pakistani citizenship with a commitment to return and serve the country.
  • Have 16 years of education (Bachelor’s and Master’s or a 4-year Bachelor’s).
  • Possess 8 to 18 years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and a record of public service.
  • Have strong English language proficiency.
  • Not have studied or worked in the U.S. recently (within the past 7 years).
  • Be available for re-employment in Pakistan post-fellowship.
  • Not hold dual U.S./Pakistani nationality.

Note: Employees of USEFP or the U.S. Department of State are not eligible.
