Study for Free at Egypt’s Top Universities with the Sawiris Excellence Scholarship 2025

The Sawiris Foundation for Social Development has officially launched applications for the Sawiris Excellence Scholarship 2025, offering fully funded undergraduate opportunities to high-achieving Egyptian high school graduates from public schools.

This scholarship covers full tuition, university accommodation, study materials, and ongoing academic support. It is specifically designed to support talented students from underprivileged backgrounds and underserved governorates.

Scholarship Benefits

• Full university tuition fees

• Free university accommodation for students living outside the city

• Textbooks, lab materials, and a personal laptop

• Assistive devices for students with disabilities

• English language training programs

• Living expenses covered throughout the study period

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be Egyptian citizens residing in Egypt (dual nationals are not prioritized)

• Be graduates of Egyptian public schools in 2025/2026 with a GPA of 90% or above

• Have not resided outside Egypt for more than three years

• Provide proof of application to an eligible academic program

• Meet the language requirements for English-taught programs

• Commit to working in Egypt for three years after graduation and completing military service if required

• Show evidence of financial need, academic merit, and volunteer/community involvement

• Priority is given to students from Fayoum, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, and Qena

• Students who previously benefited from discontinued international programs may reapply through a special link
