The Helmut Veith Scholarship for the academic year 2025–2026 is now accepting applications. This prestigious and fully funded opportunity is offered to outstanding female students who wish to pursue a master’s degree in computer science at TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology), Austria.

Funded by the Vienna Centre for Logic and Algorithms (VCLA), this scholarship commemorates the late Helmut Veith, a renowned Austrian computer scientist whose research legacy includes logic in computer science, formal methods, AI foundations, and more. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Female students only
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong background in mathematics and technical subjects
  • Interest or experience in at least one of the following research areas:
    • Logic in Computer Science
    • Formal Methods and Verification
    • Foundations of Artificial Intelligence
    • Algorithms and Complexity Theory
    • Computer Security
  • Proficiency in English (proof required)
  • Eligible for admission to a relevant Master’s program at TU Wien for winter 2025/26, summer 2026, or winter 2026/27
