Overview

The Qatar Government Scholarships 2025–2026 are now open for applications. Funded by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, these fully funded scholarships support Qatari nationals in pursuing higher education locally and internationally across a wide range of academic disciplines.

1. Amiri Scholarship Programme

• For top-performing Qatari high school graduates

2. Abroad Scholarship Programme

• Study at top institutions in:

  • USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, and more

• Available for all academic disciplines, including:

3. Local Scholarship Programme

• Study at leading universities in Qatar (including Education City)

Amiri & Medicine Abroad Scholarships

• QAR 8,000 – 12,000/month in basic and travel allowances

• QAR 40,000 pre-travel grant

• 2 business class tickets/year

• Military service credit during study period

General Abroad Scholarships

• QAR 8,000/month basic allowance

• QAR 6,000/month travel allowance

• QAR 25,000 pre-travel bonus
