- Non-Chinese citizen in good physical and mental health
- Must not hold any other scholarship concurrently in China
- Willingness to abide by Chinese laws and university rules
Academic & Age Requirements:
- Undergraduate applicants: Under 30 years old, holding a high school diploma
- Master’s applicants: Under 35 years old, holding a bachelor’s degree and two academic recommendation letters
- PhD applicants: Under 40 years old, holding a master’s degree and two academic recommendation letters
Language Proficiency:
- For Chinese-taught programs: HSK or equivalent Chinese language certificate required
- For English-taught programs: IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, or similar certificate required
How to Apply—Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Apply Online
Visit the ZJNU Online Application Portal and complete the required application form.
Step 2: Upload Required Documents
Prepare and submit the following documents in scanned format:
- Valid passport photo page
- Foreigner Physical Examination Form (must be signed and stamped)
- Notarized academic transcripts and diplomas (translated into English or Chinese)
- Study plan (approximately 800 words)
- Two letters of recommendation
